Just before 18:00 tonight, a member of Toy’s Towing Services in Wolmaransstad, witnessed a head-on collision on the N12 just outside Bloemhof towards Wolmaransstad. The exact cause of the accident is not known, but the one vehicle was a Bloemhof Fire Department vehicle. Bloemhof SAPS were on scene to investigate.

On May 06, 2018, at 22h20 our Dispatchers received an urgent maternity call emanating from a house in Lebaleng, Makwassie. Our TAC- Pulse ERS medics, Wian Kriek and Jaco Swanepoel were immediately dispatched to respond to this urgent call. Upon arrival at the house, they found the expectant mother in the advanced stages of labour. Our crew swung into action straight away, and successfully assisted the Mother with the delivery of a strong, healthy baby girl. The new mother was very impressed and grateful to Wian and Jaco for the kind and compassionate manner in which they assisted her. She was then transported to the nearest hospital.

On April 28, 2018, a 68-year-old male, Mr. Johannes Van Aardt, was enjoying a horse ride, when he suffered a dangerous fall and in the process sustained a severe lumbar spinal injury.
A TAC-Pulse ERS, Advanced Life Support Ambulance was immediately dispatched to the scene, with paramedics Xolani Mpenza, Locket Nevungwili, and Njabulo Mhalongo responding. Our paramedics found Mr. Van Aardt in a severe condition and also suffering from dehydration. They immediately swung into action, calming and comforting Mr. Van Aardt, while stabilising his injury, and treating him for extreme pain and dehydration. He was then safely transported to the hospital.
When our Relationships Manager gave Mr. Van Aardt a welfare check-up call, he heaped praise on the service and treatment he got from the TAC Pulse ERS Medic, saying:
” I am extremely thankful and grateful to the three TAC-Pulse ERS medics who went to such extra lengths to take care me. Thanks to their skilled and compassionate care on-scene, together with the treatment I received in hospital, I have now been discharged and am on the mend; I expect to make a full recovery. If I had to rate the treatment received from the TAC-Pulse ERS Medics, I would give it a 10 out of 10! I cannot thank you enough!”
